After a month of hard work you finally complete the 8a application and mail it to either San Fransisco or the Philedelphia office of the Small Business Administration. Then you wait sometimes a just a day or two and sometimes up to 15 business days. Their will be a business oportunity specialist that will review the 8a certification applicition for completeness and he or she will send you an email with a list of 2 to 20 things additional that the SBA needs to consider you application complete. This will be frustrating but be happy the SBA did not just return your application as the return about 70% of them at this point. Answer the request in the week they give you and you will be fine.
