The US federal government sets aside a part of federal contracting funds for veteran-owned businesses each year to provide them with opportunities and boost their presence in the federal marketplace.Purchases made by the federal government for amounts between $10,000 and $250,000 are designated for small businesses, provided that two or more firms can supply the good or service at a competitive price.Certified veteran-owned small businesses will be able to actively pursue contracts that are exclusively designated for them through both sole source and set-aside opportunities. The VA sets aside at least 7% of its contracts each year just for SDVOSBs and eligible VOSBs. Furthermore, you can bid on contracts via several socioeconomic initiatives.
